Our 2019-20 Season Begins Tomorrow!
Trailmen and Families....our brand new season begins tomorrow night (Tuesday August 20th @ 6:15pm) at NewHeart. We will be collecting all troop paperwork including medical release forms for all Trailmen and Adults. Please print out the forms below for you and your Trailmen and bring to the meeting— we will have copies of these at our first meeting as well.

Parents Meeting and Navigator Orientation
At our First meeting of the season, after our boys head out rocket building, we will have a New Parent Orientation for all parents new to the troop and for those promoting to Navigators. If your son is advancing to the Navigator Program this season (and there are many)— please do not miss this meeting. We will be giving you specific instructions on how to help your Trailman succeed in this New program.
Woodlands Trail: We are still working out our teaching schedule for the 2019-20 season— and need our registered adults to sign up for lessons. (as we've done in the past). Leadership Academy
Our new season is starting, and that means we will be having our second ever Leadership Academy. The Leadership Academy will be Saturday Aug 24, from 2 to 5 p.m. at NewHeart Church. We have shortened the academy by nearly two hours due to some good lessons learned from our first run last year and by requiring a bit of pre-work from our Trailmen.
Last year we viewed and dissected several movie clips from Facing the Giants from a leadership perspective. This year we will dissect some more clips from the Movie "The Great Escape" that the trailmen will view prior to attending which will also save us some time.
Those attending the Academy are encouraged to watch the entire movie or the selected clips on our website. Please view our Leadership Academy resources page for clips, and for links to watch the entire movie. (Password to access this page was emailed to all Troop families! ) Trailmen are encouraged to take notes and be prepared to discuss during the appropriate block of instruction.
