Troop Families,
Sadly our meeting scheduled for tonight is being cancelled. With so many families already enjoying the Christmas Break, we will not have enough Trail Guides or leaders to safely handle any boys that would be coming (and many of our Trailmen are enjoying their break from regular activities already). As you know, we require all troop activities to have a "Two-Deep" leadership model that requires at least two registered adults to supervise each of our groups— with the number of families out tonight, we simply don't have enough leaders available to meet this requirement.
We look forward to our next Troop meeting in the New Year. Have a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and we'll see you Trailmen in the new year.
(One of our troop dads told me to say we were cancelling because of "Rabid Raccoons" in our parking lot, but that's not the reason 😉
