Trail Life Families,
Tonight is our last regular troop meeting of calendar year 2022! Tonight our Woodlands Trail boys (K-5) will be beginning their “Life Skills” branch of learning, while our Navigators continue working on their Rope Work badge, and our Adventurers continue their badge work for Emergency Preparedness.
Christmas is a special time of year when we have opportunity to pause to remember the special gift that was given to the world on that first Christmas morning— Jesus. Jesus came to bring light and life to this world, and we pray you’d experience the LIGHT of God's love during this season.
"The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."
- John 1:9–14 (ESV)
I know just how busy this season can be— and on behalf of the Troop Leadership, we want to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We hope to see you tonight at our troop meeting!
