Camping- Patrol Level Camp (Sports & Fitness)

March 15th thru 17th
Our patrol camp out is coming up. We will need to set up the activities for each patrol. All patrols will be camping at the same sites but will be running their "Patrol camp out" separately. We will meet twice and eat as a group the patrols will be assigned cooking, cleaning and serving details as a part of their duties.

Park Hours
· Sycamore Cove & Mugu Beach parking lots open at 8am and close at sunset.
· Sycamore Canyon& Thornhill Broome campground gates open at 8am and close at 10pm. No entry after 10pm.

Point Mugu State Park, located in the Santa Monica Mountains, features five miles of ocean shoreline with rocky bluffs, sandy beaches, sand dunes, rugged hills and uplands, two major river canyons and wide grassy valleys dotted with sycamores, oaks and a few native walnuts. There are more than 70 miles of hiking trails. The beach also features swimming, body surfing and surf fishing. The park includes the jagged pinnacles of the Boney Mountains State Wilderness Area.
Driving Directions
The beach is 15 miles south of Oxnard on Highway One.
Generic camp schedule
Opening meeting Friday 3/15 7 pm ½ hour.
Closing meeting Sunday 9am ½ hour. (Sunday service)
Meal/KP duty schedule
Dinner(s) (F-S) KP prep 4:30 pm meal 5:30 pm KP clean up 6:30 pm.
Breakfast(s) (sat - sun) KP prep 7:00am meal 7:30 am KP clean up 8:30 am
Lunch KP (Sat) prep 11 am KP clean up 11:30 am. (all lunches will be bagged. Lunch served at Patrol scheduled times. This allows for patrols to cater lunch to activities.
