Greetings Trail Life Simi Valley!
I trust you had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a long weekend as we bring in the new year. Our first regular meeting is next week, Jan 5, 2021, at 6:15pm at NewHeart Church. Dress warm as we plan to meet outside but be prepared (please bring your mask) to move inside for inclement weather and/or for small group breakout group lessons. For those leaders who are scheduled to provide lessons, please contact Adam Kanabe (Woodlands), Roland Szabo (Navigators), and Mark Williams (Adventurers) to confirm you are still good to go.
Because of the shifting nature of COVID lockdown orders across our region, our Jan 14-17 car camping trip and our mid-season awards ceremony are now postponed. The updated January calendar is now as follows:
- Jan 5 – regular troop meeting
- Jan 10 – El Escorpion cave hike
- Jan 19 – regular troop meeting
- Jan 24 – hit the trail TBD
