Greetings Trail Life Simi Valley,
We are about a month away from our first meeting of the 2020/2021 season and plan to have registration open starting next week. We appreciate everyone's flexibility as we navigate COVID-19 factors.
Our goal is to ensure we set ourselves up to have a safe season while at the same time enabling our Trailmen to get the most out of their time. Our initial plan this season is to conduct our regular meetings in person at NewHeart and taking advantage of the outdoors for our assembly, closing, and patrol/group meetings. The goal is to keep the web based meetings to a minimum if we have any at all.
This troop can't function without the participation of the registered adults so please be ready to jump in either a troop leadership/staff role and/or volunteer to teach a couple of sessions during the season. That said, we are planning a “all Dads” Meeting for Sunday August 16th outside at NewHeart at 6pm.
The troop leadership team will pass along more info as we get closer to the first meeting which is tentatively scheduled for September 1st.
