Attention on Deck Trailmen!
We are scheduled for an overnight camping trip aboard the USS Iowa on Friday January 14. This will cost $90 per person which will cover the tour, dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday and sleeping accommodations. We will be in male sleeping quarters (enlisted berthing) so this will be limited to registered Trailmen and their dad (or uncle, grandpa, etc.). We will be required to wear face coverings while indoors with the exception of eating and sleeping. The USS Iowa does NOT require proof of vaccination. Also, parking will be $20 per vehicle.
Based on our previous visit we met around 5PM near the battleship, boarded and placed our items in the berthing area, went to the mess hall for dinner, and proceeded with our guided tour. In the morning we got our breakfast and were able to explore the general area of the battle ship including the museum then at about mid-morning the visit concluded. This format may change slightly and we will pass on additional details/updates as the date approaches. In order to secure our spot we will need to make a deposit by the end of December.
