Trail Life Families,

Join us tonight for our Regular Troop meeting @ 6:15pm at NewHeart. Our Woodlands Trail boys will be focusing on their Science & Technology frontier, Navigators working on their Rope Work badge (and practicing their knot tying skills), while our Adventurers will begin their Family Man badge learning.

Did you register and pay for the new season yet? If your Trailman is returning this season, or just beginning with Trail Life Simi valley please be sure to complete the registration form (and Local troop payment of $45) using our troop registration page » (and also be sure that His Trail Life USA membership is current in Trail Life Connect »)

Our First Camping trip of the season is this weekend! If you’ve not signed up already, please RSVP TODAY using our website registration form: (or you can sign-up in person tonight at our Troop meeting.) Find Details and RSVP here »

We will be camping at the Tapo Canyon Park, right on the edge of Simi Valley...so this is a perfect first time camping trip for all of our Trailmen and Dads. This car camp is at the end of Tapo Canyon Road, and during our time we will have outdoor activities including, Rope-work, Knife Safety and Archery. We'd love to have all of our Trailmen (and Dads) join us for this first trip, so please reach out to Pastor Brian if cost is an issue. Cost is $45 per person, or $90 per family (even if you've got more than one son attending) and includes campsite fees, and food.

Our next Hit the Trail is scheduled for next Sunday afternoon as we visit the Simi Valley Military History museum with a special guided tour @ 2pm. Please sign-up tonight so we can let the museum know how many of us to expect for this event. (Unlike many of our hit the trails, and all of our camping trips— this event is open to members of the entire family…so bring mom and other siblings to this event!)

NOTE: As we announced last weekend, all of our Hit the Trails and Camping Trips are now posted on our PDF calendar , with further details to come about costs, and locations as we get closer. Would you take a few minutes to look through the calendar as a family and consider which events you are able to be part of this season. Tonight we will have sign-ups for ALL of our Hit the Trails and Camping Trips, and we’d like for you to sign up for the events you are planning to attend, so we can make plans and reservations for these events. (If we don't get enough sign-ups for our events, they simply won’t happen— so please review the list, and let’s plan on being a part of these events together!)
