I pray you’ve had a relaxing and fun-filled summer vacation so far… and we can’t wait to see you again as we prepare for our next Season of Trail Life Simi Valley. We’ve got a bunch of fun ideas planned for the next season— but what we are missing is *YOUR* ideas for what would make a great troop season for 2023-24. We’re inviting you to add your voice, and creative ideas to our next troop season in two ways:
1) Our Youth leaders— “Officers” we call them— will be meeting to brainstorm tomorrow, Wednesday July 19th @ 6pm. We will be inviting all Second year Navigators and Adventurers to our Officers Conference this Wednesday @ 6pm at NewHeart. Have your trailman come with ideas of fun Hit the Trails and camping ideas for the next season…we want this next season to be the *most* filled with adventure and fun of any season…so come ready to discuss!
2) ALL DAD’S MEETING on 13-August 2023 @ Pastor Fox’s house. We are inviting all dad’s (and uncles and participating male leaders) to join us for a Troop Kick off meeting to discuss the upcoming troop season. We will be reviewing our officers conference suggested ideas, and finalizing the schedule as well as talking about expectations for the upcoming season…. in short, Dad we need you to make this next season happen!
A few other important dates and reminders coming up: Our First official Troop meeting will be 15-August 2023...and our registration for the new season will be opening soon (but not yet), and our Leadership Academy for all incoming and existing Navigators and Adventurers (6-12th grade) will be 19-August 2023.
