It's hard to believe that we've just had our final regular troop meeting of the year, with our awards ceremony less than 2 weeks away, on Tuesday May 18, 2021 @ 6:15pm. Our boys worked hard this season— attending more Hit the Trails and activities than we've ever had, and our Navigator and Adventurers have been working hard towards their required badge work.

Our Awards Ceremony is an opportunity to applaud our Trailmen for accomplishments and achievements during our past troop season— and is a great opportunity for Parents and extended family to join in the celebration. Note: We will be recognizing awards earned, and parents may choose to purchase physical awards directly from Trail Life after our ceremony— with limited stock available on certain items directly from the troop. (Further details will be available at our ceremony.)

Attendance and Badge Tracking

We've made available a list of the Awards to be presented during our awards ceremony— this list is posted to our members only page at http://tlsv.org/members/ (Your login was created when registering and paying for local troop fees) and is also posted on our FaceBook Private group ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/traillifesimifamily ). Woodlands Trail: Family Home Activities (FHA)

Each one of our woodlands Trailmen has received a "Woodlands Trail Guide" book as part of him joining the troop. This guide includes several “Family Home Activities” (FHA) that a Trailman can do at home with family to offset an absence with some activity done at home with family. We allow ONE missed step to be replaced on each branch of learning (Outdoor Activities, Hobbies, etc). This allows a Trailman "Close" to earning a Branch Pin or Sylvan Star to makeup a missing step with 2 Family Home Activities. The above mentioned sheet mentions both badges earned, as well as any branches that your Trailman is close to earning and is within 1 step of achieving. For those, you may makeup any steps using family home activities and reporting them. Note: as announced, we will need all FHA's submitted by Tuesday, May 11th 2021 to count for our awards ceremony.
