Trail Life Families,
We had a blast at our Rusty Hike yesterday, and can’t wait for our next troop meeting Tomorrow night, Tuesday February 4th @ 6:15pm.
Tomorrow’s troop meeting is highly anticipated each year, as our Woodland Trail boys will learning Life Skills related to Gun Safety. Our approach will be one part FUN, and another part SERIOUS and INSTRUCTIONAL.
On the fun side, we have planned for an epic NERF war with our boys and dads. And for that battle your Trailman is encouraged to bring a Nerf Gun (and eye protection) for our Epic nerf battle. (Please do *not* send Nerf-Bullets though, as we will have 1000 regular nerf bullets and don’t want your nerf-bullets getting lost, or misplaced.) (Our Navigators and Adventurers are also welcome to bring a Nerf blaster for some fun)
On the serious side, each of our trailmen will be given proper Gun Safety instruction (including what to do if they ever find a gun), and a hands on demonstration of proper handling of firearms (verified safe and unloaded by our instructors).
We should have an epic time together, and fun is sure to be had by all. See you tomorrow night!
